BATAK - The Origin of Nias People

BATAK - The origin of the Nias people are often the subject of debate among the people of Nias, because until now too benyak version of ORIGINS OF NIAS, and not one opinion among the experts / writers who can serve as an absolute truth that can accepted and trusted by the people of Nias. Therefore, I feel compelled to present this paper, which is a summary of my experience of Indigenous elders Nias, as a trigger the spirit of the people of Nias to keep track of our origins.

Menurut highly trusted by some of the people of Nias, especially those living in rural areas, that the origin of the Nias people are descended from the sky (NIDADA MOROI BA Lang). Meaning / lessons learned:

Nias ancestors, had long ago considered dirinyaØ as a child king, so it is very offended and angry when someone says there Nias people who become slaves, because the principle is: "Ono NAMADA FAOMA ITA", meaning we are both descended from honorable people. This makes the people of Nias always keep the attitude / behavior in the environment where it is located. But this also makes us sometimes seem arrogant / cocky.
